Gohyaku-Rakan
Stone statues of Buddha's 500("Gohyaku") mythical disciples("Rakan"), housed in a side yard at Kitain temple . They display joy, serenity, madness, sadness and other emotions. Some seem untroubled , while others seem absolutely enraged. Their facial expression is worth seeing.
